Since Kylie Jenner’s 2015 admission to receiving lip injections, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons reports that cosmetic lip augmentations are on the rise. While some take the plunge and head straight for a plastic surgeon’s chair, others are opting for a more subtle enhancement to their lips via lip plumping balms and glosses (“lip plumpers”).

Typically, lip plumpers are enriched with peppermint, menthol or cinnamon oil to produce inflammation that results in the temporary appearance of increased lip volume. The inflammation is often accompanied by a stinging, burning or numbing sensation.

Our With This Kiss...Lip Brightening and Volume Enhancing Balm contains a proprietary blend of natural, hydrating, sensation-free ingredients that produce an increase in the appearance of lip volume with long-term use.  Specifically, our balm contains Adeps Bovis (a skin moisturizer that contains naturally occurring fatty acids), 5% Alpha Arbutin (a natural skin brightening ingredient derived from the Bearberry plant), Alpha Hydroxy Acid (a gentle exfoliant that aids in skin softening), Orchid Extract (an astringent that conditions the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles) and various natural skin brightening and hydrating ingredients (Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Licorice Root Extract, Turmeric Extract, Lemon Peel Ferment Extract, Vitamin C and Vitamin E).
